Say, "God is sufficient as a witness between you and me. He knows all that is in the heavens and the earth. Those who believe in falsehood and reject God will surely be the losers." 52 They demand you to bring upon them torment immediately. Had not the time been fixed, the torment would certainly have approached them. It would have come to them suddenly and they would not have even realized how it came. 53 They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- 54 On the day when the doom will overwhelm them from above them and from underneath their feet, and He will say: Taste what ye used to do! 55 My believing servants, My land is vast. Worship Me alone. 56 Every soul shall taste of death; then unto Us you shall be returned. 57 And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to them We shall surely give lofty dwellings in Paradise, underneath which rivers flow, to live therein forever. Excellent is the reward of the workers. 58 Who persevere, and put their trust in their Lord! 59 How many are the creatures that carry not their own sustenance? It is Allah who feeds (both) them and you: for He hears and knows (all things). 60 And thus it is [with most people]: if thou ask them, "Who is it that has created the heavens and the earth, and made the sun and the moon subservient [to His laws]?" - they will surely answer, "God." How perverted, then, are their minds! 61 God gives abundantly to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases. God has full knowledge of all things. 62 If thou askest them, 'Who sends down out of heaven water, and therewith revives the earth after it is dead?' they will say, 'God.' Say: 'Praise belongs to God.' Nay, but most of them have no understanding. 63
