The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 surely your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
