Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
