No, by the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mankind, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 About the criminals, 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until death approached us". 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
