In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 who has taught [man] the use of the pen 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 Because he sees himself self-sufficient. 7 Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all). 8 Bethinkest thou him who forbiddeth, 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 Or enjoins piety? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Does he not know that God observes all things? 14 Nay! If he (Abu Jahl) ceases not, We will catch him by the forelock, 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 So let him summon his helpmates; 17 We too shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
