Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
