The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
