Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
