Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
