Indeed, We gave Moses the Book; so he not in doubt concerning the encounter with him; and We appointed it for a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 And We appointed, from amongst them, leaders guiding others by Our command, when they had persevered, and of Our signs they were convinced. 24 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. 25 Is it not a guidance for them (to observe) how many generations We destroyed before them, amid whose dwelling places they do walk? Lo! therein verily are portents! Will they not then heed? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water to the barren land and produce thereby crops of which their cattle and they themselves eat? Will they not then see? 27 Yet they say: "When will this decree come, if you speak the truth?" 28 Say, "On the day of the final triumph, the faith of the disbelievers will be of no avail to them, nor will they be given any respite". 29 Therefore turn away from them and wait, surely they too are waiting. 30
