▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then he who transgressed 37 preferring the present life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
