The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
