"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
