We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
