The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 and produce sparks 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
