The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
