The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
