Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
