And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
