Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
