The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
