Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The Striking! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
