Sheba (Saba)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
All praise unto Allah whose is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and His is the praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Aware. 1 He knows that which goes into the earth and that which comes forth from it, and that which descend from the heaven and that which ascends to it. And He is the Most Merciful, the OftForgiving. 2 And the disbelievers said, “The Last Day will never come upon us”; proclaim, “Surely yes, why not? By oath of my Lord, it will surely come upon you – the All Knowing of the hidden; nothing is hidden from Him – equal to an atom or less than it or greater – in the heavens or in the earth, but it is in a clear Book.” 3 So that He may reward those who believed and did good deeds; it is these for whom is forgiveness, and an honourable sustenance. 4 But those who strive against Our revelations, challenging (Us), theirs will be a painful doom of wrath. 5 And those to whom knowledge has come see that the (Revelation) sent down to thee from thy Lord - that is the Truth, and that it guides to the Path of the Exalted (in might), Worthy of all praise. 6 The disbelievers say: "Shall we tell you of a man who prophesies that when you are reduced to particles and vanished in the dust, you will become a new creation 7 Has he invented a lie about God, or is he afflicted with madness?" Indeed no. It is those who do not believe in the Hereafter who will suffer torment, for they have strayed far into error. 8 See they not what is before them and behind them, of the sky and the earth? If We wished, We could cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. Verily in this is a Sign for every devotee that turns to Allah (in repentance). 9
