With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
