Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 storming tempestuously 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
