What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
