And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
