The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
