When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The folk of Pharaoh. Will they not ward off (evil)? 11 'My Lord' he replied, 'I fear they will belie me 12 And my breast straiteneth, and my tongue moveth not quickly: so send for Harun. 13 As for me, they hold the charge of a crime against me. I fear they will put me to death." 14 He said: "Certainly not! So go both of you with Our Signs. We shall be with you listening to everything. 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 Yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates." 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty." 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 Said he: "Even if I should bring about before thee something that clearly shows the truth?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 He cast down his staff and thereupon it was a clear serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33
