The deniers of the Truth say: “Do not give ear to the Qur'an and cause interruption when it is recited; thus perhaps you will gain the upper hand.” 26 We will let the unbelievers taste a terrible punishment, and recompense them with the worst of what they were doing. 27 The recompense of the enemies of God for their rejection of Our revelations will be fire as their eternal dwelling. 28 The unbelievers will say: 'Lord, show us the jinn and people who led us astray, to put them under our feet so that they are among the lowest' 29 The angels will descend on those who said: 'Allah is Our Lord' and have then gone straight, (saying:) 'Be neither fearful, nor sad; rejoice in the Paradise you have been promised. 30 We are close unto you in the life of this world and [will be so] in the life to come; and in that [life to come] you shall have all that your souls may desire, and in it you shall have all that you ever prayed for, 31 As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful." 32
