The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
O you enveloped in your cloak! 1 Arise and deliver thy warning! 2 and exalt your Lord, 3 purify your garments; 4 And uncleanness do shun, 5 Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)! 6 be patient unto your Lord. 7 For when the trumpet shall sound, 8 that very Day shall be a day of anguish, 9 and it will not be easy for the unbelievers. 10 Let Me alone with him whom I created lonely. 11 And gave him vast wealth. 12 and sons to be by his side, 13 And made life smooth and comfortable for him! 14 and who still desires more. 15 Nay! He is forward unto Our signs; 16 I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment! 17 Indeed he thought, and inwardly decided. 18 So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 19 yea, he destroys himself, the way he meditates! 20 Then he looked round; 21 then frowned and scowled; 22 Then he turned away, and was haughty. 23 Then he said: This is naught but enchantment, narrated (from others); 24 'this is nothing but mortal speech.' 25 I will soon fling him into hell. 26 What could make you conceive what hell-fire is? 27 It leaveth naught; it spareth naught 28 making [all truth] visible to mortal man. 29 there are nineteen [angels] in charge of it -- 30 We have appointed none but angels to guard the Fire, and made their number only as a trial for the unbelievers, so that those to whom the Book was given are certain and those who believe increase in belief. And that those who were given the Book, and those who believe will not be in doubt. And that those in whose hearts there is a sickness, together with the unbelievers, may say: 'What did Allah intend by this as an example' As such, Allah leaves in error whom He will and He guides whomsoever He will. None knows the hosts of your Lord except He. This is no more than a Reminder to humans. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
