Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
