The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the bright forenoon, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
