The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
