And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
