Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
God has made devoid of all virtue the deeds of those who have disbelieved and prevented others from the way of God. 1 God forgives the sins and reforms the hearts of the righteously striving believers who have faith in what is revealed to Muhammad - which is the Truth from his Lord. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow the falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. And thus Allah propoundeth unto mankind their similitude. 3 So, when you clash with the unbelievers, smite their necks until you overpower them, then hold them in bondage. Then either free them graciously or after taking a ransom, until war shall have come to end. If God had pleased He could have punished them (Himself), but He wills to test some of you through some others. He will not allow the deeds of those who are killed in the cause of God to go waste. 4 God will lead them to everlasting happiness and improve their condition. 5 And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them. 6 O People who Believe! If you help the religion of Allah, He will help you and will stabilise you. 7 As to those who disbelieve, perdition lies in store for them and Allah has reduced their works to nought. 8 That was because they were averse to what Allah had revealed; so He let their works go to waste. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers. 10 That is because Allah is the patron of those who believe, and because the infidels! no patron is theirs. 11
