Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
