'Aad denied the messengers 123 When their brother Hud said unto them: fear ye not? 124 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 125 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 126 I seek of you no reward for this; my reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 127 What, you build a monument on every hill merely for fun 128 And take ye for yourselves castles that haply ye may abide. 129 When you assault, you assault like tyrants. 130 Have fear of God and obey me. 131 "And keep your duty to Him, fear Him Who has aided you with all (good things) that you know. 132 He hath aided you with cattle and sons. 133 And gardens and watersprings. 134 Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day' 135 They said: "It is the same to us if you warn us or do not warn. 136 This is just a habit of antiquated people. 137 And we are not going to be tormented. 138 So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 139 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 140

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
