Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
