Ruin is for the defrauders. (Those who measure less.) 1 those who demand a full measure from others 2 But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss. 3 Do those not think that they shall be raised up 4 on a Great Day, 5 the Day when all men shall stand before the Sustainer of all the worlds? 6 No indeed! Verily the deeds of the wicked are in the Record locked up in the prison-house! 7 Would that you knew what Sijin is!? 8 (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed. 9 Woe, on that Day, to those who reject, 10 those who give the lie to the [coming of] Judgment Day: 11 And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! 12 Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old. 13 No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning. 14 No indeed, on that Day they shall be veiled from their Lord. 15 Then they will indeed burn in Hell. 16 Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' 17 But, the Book of the righteous is in the 'Illiyoon. 18 And what will make thee know whatsoever the record in Illiyun is? 19 (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed, 20 which the angels placed near Allah to safeguard. 21 Verily the pious will be in heaven, 22 On thrones, watching. 23 You will find in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, 25 The sealing of it is (with) musk; and for that let the aspirers aspire. 26 With the wine is a drink from Tasnim, 27 a fountain at which the chosen ones shall drink. 28 Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 And wink one to another when they passed them; 30 And when they returned to their own followers they returned exulting. 31 and whenever they see those [who believe,] they say: "Behold, these [people] have indeed gone astray!" 32 And withal, they have no call to watch over [the beliefs of] others... 33 Wherefore Today, those who believed at the infidels are laughing, 34 upon couches gazing. 35 Did not the disbelievers get repaid for what they used to do? 36
