The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning hours 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
