Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 on a straight path, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
