The believing man said, "My people, follow me and I shall show you the right guidance. 38 O My people! this life of the world is but a passing enjoyment, and verily the Hereafter! That is the Abode of rest. 39 Whoever does an evil deed will not be recompensed except by the like thereof; but whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - those will enter Paradise, being given provision therein without account. 40 ۞ "And O my people! How is it that I call you to salvation while you call me to the Fire! 41 You invite me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. 42 Without doubt ye only call me unto that which is not to be invoked in the world nor in the Hereafter; and verily our return shall be unto God, and the extravagant; they shall be fellows of the Fire. 43 And anon ye shall remember that which I am telling you. And I confide my affair unto God; verily God is the Beholder of His bondmen. 44 Wherefore Allah protected him from ills which they plotted, and there surrounded the family of Fir'awn the evil of torment. 45 They are exposed to the Fire every morning and evening; and when the Last Hour will come to pass, a command shall be given: “Admit the Pharaonites to an even more severe chastisement.” 46 And consider what time they will wrangle together in the Fire, and the oppressed will say unto those who were stiff-necked: verily we have been unto you a following, are ye going to avail us against a portion of the Fire? 47 The arrogant will answer: "All of us are in it. Surely God has judged between His creatures." 48 The dwellers of hell fire will ask its keepers, "Pray to your Lord to relieve us from the torment at least for one day". 49 They shall say: Did not your apostles come to you with clear arguments? They shall say: Yea. They shall say: Then call. And the call of the unbelievers is only in error. 50
