Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
