The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
