The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TRULY, to a happy state shall attain the believers: 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 Who avoid vain talk; 3 who observe Zakah; 4 who strictly guard their private parts 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 And those who fulfil their trusts and keep their promises; 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 who will inherit Paradise; they shall live there for ever. 11 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; 12 Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging; 13 Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators. 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 and you will be brought back to life again on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have indeed fashioned above you seven paths. Never were We unaware of the task of creation. 17 And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). 18 Then through water We caused gardens of date-palms and vines to grow for you wherein you have an abundance of delicious fruits and from them you derive your livelihood. 19 Also a tree springing out of Mount Sinai, which produces oil, and relish for those who use it for food. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 and are carried on them and also on ships. 22
