I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
