Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble, writers 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 to burn therein. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
