Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the midmorning, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
