Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
